Company is a higher level of commitment. Dancers are expected to attend required classes, rehearsals, and events, maintain strong attendance, and uphold the standards of MHDC both in and out of the studio.

Our company dancers attend regional and national competitions, as well as required conventions, to gain experience, receive professional feedback, and continue to grow as artists. These events provide invaluable training, exposure, and performance opportunities throughout the season.
Company dancers are responsible for competitions, conventions, costumes, choreography, and travel expenses. Detailed information if provided to families before the season begins, and payment plans are available.

Company placement is audition-based and designed to ensure each dancer is in the environment that best supports their growth. Auditions evaluate technique, performance quality, work ethic, and overall potential. Dancers are placed in the appropriate level based on their training, age, and readiness.
