At MadHouse Dance Company, tuition reflects structured training, experienced staff, and a commitment to dancer growth. Our pricing model is designed to be clear, consistent, and supportive of both recreational and competitive dancers.

🩰 TUITION STRUCTURE

Tuition is calculated based on the total number of hours your dancer is enrolled in per week and is billed monthly.

💵 Rate

$8 per hour

Monthly tuition = weekly hours × $8 × average weeks per month

This structure ensures:

  • Fair pricing across all class types

  • Flexibility for recreational and advancing dancers

  • Clear expectations for families

📌 EXAMPLE TUITION BREAKDOWN

Example 1 — Recreational Dancer

1 × 45-min class
➡ 0.75 hr → $24/month

Example 2 — Multiple Technique Classes

2 × 45-min classes
➡ 1.5 hr → $48/month

Example 3 — Company Dancer

3 hrs technique + 2 hrs group
➡ 5 hrs → $160/month

Exact totals may vary slightly based on the calendar month.

  • Have parents add up all classes per week.

    Example:

    • Leaps – 45 min

    • Jazz – 45 min

    • Pom – 60 min

    ➡ Total = 2.5 hours per week

  • $8 per hour

    2.5 hours × $8 = $20 per week

  • $20 × 4 weeks = $80/month

    0.5 hr → $16

    0.75 hr → $24

    1.0 hr → $32

    1.5 hr → $48

    1.75 hr → $56

    2.0 hr → $64

    2.25 hr → $72

    3.75 hr → $120

    4.0 hr → $128

    4.5 hr → $144

Competition fees, costumes, and privates are separate

Company dancers are enrolled in required weekly classes and group rehearsals, which are billed using the same $8/hour rate.

Company tuition reflects:

  • Required technique classes

  • Weekly group rehearsals

  • Structured training expectations

Company tuition does not include:

  • Competition entry fees

  • Costumes

  • Choreography fees

  • Travel expenses

  • Private lessons

A detailed Company Financial Breakdown is provided separately to company families.

COMPANY & COMPETITIVE DANCERS

Intensives, camps, and workshops

Travel and convention fees

All additional fees are communicated in advance.

📅 PAYMENT POLICIES

  • Tuition is billed monthly

  • Accounts must remain current for dancers to participate in classes, rehearsals, and events

  • Missed classes are not refundable

  • Tuition is not prorated for absences
